While I worked with Verts Mediterranean Grill, a seasonal menu was introduced. This allowed variety and excitement into the menu, but confused guests at first, and incurred high printing costs from having to reprint the whole menu suite every quarter.
To solve both of those problems, I introduced a unique seasonal menu graphics suite, cementing the idea of a changing menu and reducing printing costs. These cards are the main component of the seasonal menu: the Seasonal Chef Creation Cards, listing out all the seasonal chef creations with either ingredients or one of the entrees highlighted on the back. Their colors correspond with the rest of the seasonal menu suite at the time, making it easy to understand what is permanent and what is temporary. Each header is hand-lettered and illustrated with the seasonal item at the time, furthering the idea of customization and curation.
